Last week, I had a little come back with my podcast and started putting out episodes again. It made me feel really excited about the future and sparked creativity in ways writing (which I’ve been mainly doing during the hiatus) couldn’t give me. I have so much fun creating these blog posts, playlists and podcast episodes. Thank you for being here and listening to my interviews, pitching yourself to me, reading and sharing my music reviews.🧡
ps: Christmas Season has unofficially started with Laufey’s Christmas Dreaming, Anna Vaus’ Halloween on Christmas Eve and Brooke Alexx’ After December. 🎄✨

If you take a listen, you can hear the unique orchestral and soundscapes of today’s music. Let’s dive into it:
I WANNA FEEL by Dafna
The 80s The-Human-League of I WANNA FEEL has been spinning around my mind since Dafna first teased the song on her TikTok (I looked it up and it was April 👀). I interviewed her this Summer on What’s More Romantic? - interview dropping this Saturday November 11 - and told her about my obsession with this song. Two more releases and it finally reaches our ears. I love everything Dafna creates and puts her heart’n’soul in. This song is no exception - the addictive rhythm pattern making us jump into a dancing mob and sing how it feels like our obsessive thought loops on wishing to feel like a kid again destruct our happiness from living in the present - this made me sound like eckhart tolle and i am very aware of that. Everyone who recently texted with their friend how “adulting” - thanks Issy - sucks should have this song on repeat while strutting through their town.
hope it’s not critical / but this time it feels different / i don’t think it’s something i can shake
The Golden Age by Elke
Nothing hits worse than clocks changing an hour back and one has no idea anymore what time it is and when the meetings are scheduled and then you wake up and it’s still dark or you look up from work and it’s dark outside. Well, I’ve got the perfect song for you to listen to while winter melancholia hits you: The Golden Age by Elke is a lovely guitar-spotlight song about feeling the cold of the season on your skin and soul. Also if you love driving around just for the pleasure of listening to music on your own, this song is a good companion to play.
put your hands on the wheel, let the golden age begin / … / you gotta drive all night just to feel like you're okay
Que Yo A Tí by Bratty
During Primavera Barcleona this Summer, I fell in love with discovering and listening to Spanish music. Mostly because I spent most of that festival in front of small stages that had local artists and bands playing - where else would the girl with an indie music podcast be? Sincerely I wanna thank Bratty for being a big soundtrack since then and somehow this song of her latest album TRES gives me the vibes of summer and hanging around on grass with friends picnicking or simply reading together. The heartfelt lyrics remind me of my personal theme of finding ways to move on and let go of past loves and feelings.
y doy gracias a dios porque te conocí / porque no he querido a nadie / como te quiеro a ti
Selfish by Izzy Eyre
Izzy’s an artist I’ve been following around for over a year now and in a way she’s like the artist you wanna start listening now before they get discovered by a big mass and aren’t your secret anymore. Her fresh single release Selfish been on repeat since Friday and all I’ve listened to while writing and working. Another addiction found a place in my heart.
don’t lock me out / i’m here to help / the floods in our room / i’m drowning now
Clean by IAN SWEET
I’ve been waiting for IAN SWEET’s album release a couple of months now and got so happy seeing it in my What’s New section on Spotify. A rollercoaster of feelings mixed in between harmonies and rebellious-feeling drum beats. Clean is taking you on a journey through the different stages of feeling left behind and alone. The aching metaphors of water underline everything in a way that truly give you a feeling of figuring out a labyrinth of emotions.
and baby i’m tough / don’t worry about a thing / i’ll wrap myself up / clean up the blood and get back to dreaming
