Witch Post EP Beast
I have a distinct memory of one midnight TikTok scroll encountring a video saying “Hi we’re Witch Post” - I let it slip through my fingers, but the algorithm kept me updated until I eventually followed them on Spotify and kept up with their journey to this day, releasing their debut EP called “Beast”. It sounds like a mixtape your best friend burnt onto a CD last night, so you know they’re always there for you, whatever feelings might feel like a burden right now.

Madi Sipes & The Painted Blue Blushing
As a fictional author that focuses on stories in romance and grief, the verb “blushing” is probably my used one. So I absorb every single song that is titled that. After “Feels” that got released this February, “Blushing” feels like the Spring soundtrack for crawling out of our beds and touch some grass.

Starting off like one just put the vinyl onto the record player, this song off their self-titled debut album (out October 3rd) totally rocks. It’s for all the cool girls that actually wanna be more than friends with this particular person in their friend group.
